Radiant Dance offers a variety of classes starting at 3 years old. We believe that dance can enhance overall mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Most importantly we believe that dance is a form of worship used to display our gratitude and love for God. Here at RDC we start and end each class with a Mantra and prayer. We offer a fun, safe, and worshipful environment that is Christ- centered. Students are taught by instructors who are passionate, knowledgeable, talented, and full of integrity. Here at RDC we offer a range of group classes such as Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Dance Composition. Tap and Acrobatics will be added in the near future! We believe that every dancer has a unique voice. Here at RDC we help each student discover their God given talent.

Meet the Founder of Radiant Dance Center

Chareka a native of Richmond, Virginia began her dance journey at the age of 10. Chareka had innate talent but lacked the resources to pursue her dreams. Chareka’s tenacious spirit and faith in God gave her the courage to conquer every obstacle. Chareka attended James Madison University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012. In 2015, Chareka became a graduate of Arizona State University where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree in choreography, teaching, and performance. Following graduation, Chareka taught at various schools and traveled to over 10 countries teaching dance and sharing Jesus. Chareka enjoys choreographing, performing, and teaching. Chareka has been inspiring and teaching students for over 10 years. Chareka was determined to make dance accessible and affordable to all. She believes that dance is a form of worship and should be used to glorify God! Chareka was inspired to merge her faith with movement instead of keeping them separate. Chareka is passionate about empowering and speaking identity over others. Chareka desires to change the world by sharing her faith and love for dance.
